In May 2011, Shelly and I took a road trip to Michigan to visit some of her family.  We concluded the trip with a few days at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

We toured the Butterfly House of Mackinac Island and got some nice pictures.  We also took a horse carriage ride around the island and saw some great sites.  And we visited Fort Mackinac and saw some precision drilling and demonstrations of small arms and large gun firings.
