Shelly and I traveled to Buffalo, NY in September 2016 to attend the wedding of our niece, and spent one morning visiting Niagara Falls.  We've been there before, but it is always such a fantastic site to see.  On the Canadian side, you can get some great pictures by paying for a ride to the top of Skylon Tower.  Don't forget to bring your passport!  Here's some pictures and videos that don't do it justice.
