A Beautiful Day in Berlin, MD and at the Bay

Shelly and I are at the beach in Ocean City, MD. We went to Berlin, MD to have lunch and browse the shops. Berlin is a quaint little town with several good restaurants and many antique shops and art galleries. The movie Runaway Bride was filmed there.

We ate lunch at Fins Ale House & Raw Bar. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful 80 degree sunshine. The meal was OK, not great. But we enjoyed it anyway.

We then walked around the 3 to 4 block town and browsed the antique shops. We found a gift for one of our relatives, and just liked seeing the antiques and prices. We saw some items that brought back memories of our childhoods. I also rifled through boxes of record albums looking for the quality and prices of Beatles albums.

We then headed back to Ocean City to Ropewalk, one of our favorite watering holes. Ropewalk has an outdoor seating area that overlooks the Assawoman Bay. It is speckled with palm trees and covered in sand. We ordered a few drinks and sat, looked at the bay, and listened to the music piping from the outdoor speakers. The sun and gorgeous blue sky spent the afternoon with us as well.
