Shelly, Melissa, Rhys, Knox, and I spent the week at our condo in Ocean City, MD and had a fantastic time. Shelly and I arrived Saturday afternoon and got settled in. Melissa, Rhys and Knox arrived Sunday morning. We went to the pool and met up with the Piazza family, friends who happened to be staying at the Plaza as well.
On Monday, we went to the pools and beach, and spent the evening with the Piazza's at the Ropewalk restaurant. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the playground and the adults chatted and reminisced.
We spent the rest of the week relaxing at the pools and listening to live bands at the Jungle Bar. Here's a video of a father and son band named Blind Wind.
The last day was overcast and there was a brief storm. I captured a rainbow over the ocean.
It was a wonderful week, but we were glad to get home to our cats, Lennon and McCartney, who missed us very much!
