Shelly and I went to Baltimore to meet dear friends Pat and Lani Morrissey, Brian Smacher, and Scott and Maria Meier, and see the New York Yankees play the Baltimore Orioles. Pat, Brian and I have been friends since 5th grade, and Scott and I go back to 7th grade. We met at our hotel, the Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards, checked in, and walked around a bit before heading to dinner
We had dinner together at La Calle, a Mexican restaurant near the Inner Harbor. I enjoyed the Enchiladas Verde and the conversation.
The game was exciting as the Yankees won 7-2 and hit 5 home runs. After the game, we had a drink at the bar in our hotel and then hit the sack. Here's a photo of us at the game.
We had breakfast in the morning and headed home. It was a great visit and I would have liked an extra day. Pat suggested we make this an annual trip, which would be great. Here's to next season!
