Donny Osmond put on a Great Show at MGM National Harbor

Shelly and Ken saw Donny Osmond put on a great show at MGM National Harbor on August 2, 2023. He sang over 20 songs from past and recent albums, and paid tribute to his brothers, Andy Williams (who gave them their start), and sister Marie. Brother Merle was in the audience and Donny called him on stage to sing "Lazy River". Donny is an excellent entertainer and we enjoyed the show very much.

After the opening song, Donny sang hits from the 1970's through his new album, including "Puppy Love".

He then did a excellent segment where he rapped his musical history from the 1960's to today while showing a video montage. He then did a segment where the audience chose a song for him to sing from among his 65 albums. The audience requested many of his hits including "The 12th of Never". One audience member requested "Lazy River" and Donny Invited his brother Merle to join him on stage and sing.

His next segment was a tribute to Las Vegas shows, singing songs from Elvis and Frank Sinatra. He then sang "One Bad Apple" with his dancers in 1970's jackets.

He closed the show with a video tribute to his sister Marie. It was a well-constructed and fast-paced, 90 minute show.

Prior to the show, Shelly and Ken had dinner at Voltaggio Brothers Steakhouse at MGM National Harbor. We shared a Caesar Salad, an 8oz wagyu fillet, a loaded baked potato, asparagus, and mac and cheese. All dishes were delicious, and the service was excellent.
