Kristian Anderson, Shelly and I went to Ed Sheeran's concert on June 24, 2023 at FedEx Field. We arrived during the first warmup act, not sure who it was. We had good seats in the lower section of the corner of the endzone with a great view of the stage. Ed Sheeran's second warmup act was in a car accident the day before and could not perform, so Sheeran came out at 7:15pm and performed acoustic songs from his current album. He took a break at 7:45pm and came back on for his primary show at 8:30pm. He was solo on the stage, while his band was off the main stage.
I was not familiar with Sheeran's music. I knew the song "Perfect", but that was it. He performed upbeat songs and ballads. Shelly and Kristian loved it. As I am not familiar with his music, I am probably not the best person to offer an opinion, but I was a bit bored. I thought a lot of the songs sounded the same. But he was a good performer, and the crowd seemed to love the show. He performed "Perfect" in the last quarter of his show, then we left. We had spent almost two hours getting to our parking space, and did not want to spend another two hours getting home.
Here's some photos.
