The doctor postponed Connie's Covid-19 test until Saturday. They are rationing tests. She's doing well with her physical and occupational therapy. She is just anxious to get home. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Shelly and I went to the grocery store this morning. We first went to Wegman's but the line to get in wrapped around the store. So we went to Safeway and found most of what we and Shelly's Mom needed. We dropped her groceries off and headed home.
We ordered takeout from Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. It was well organized. We ordered online, drove up to the curb, and they brought the order out. They had $7.99 hamburger specials today. I also got tater tots and two pieces of carrot cake. It was delicious and I still have one piece of carrot cake for tomorrow.
For the first time in 39 days of isolation, I have not watched a movie. Showtime, The Movie Channel, EPIX and STARZ are free right now, so I've been taking advantage of it. Nothing of interest for me today. I still have Amazon Prime, Netflix, DisneyPlus, and Hulu, but didn't check on these today. Maybe later tonight.
The weather is supposed to be nice on Saturday so we are going to drive to Melissa's and drop off the masks Kate Coleman made for Rhys, Knox and her. We're then going to watch Rhys and Knox ride their bikes sans their training wheels. Can't wait to get out of the house and see them even if it's from a distance.
Here's a throwback photo of a sunset I took on the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe, Africa in 2009. Shelly and I had a fabulous trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe.
And in closing, Shelly and I saw Ambrosia in 2016 at Strathmore in Bethesda, MD. This was the first band Shelly saw in concert around 1980. We had front-row seats and enjoyed the show. Here they are performing "How Much I Feel."
