Isolation Day 43 - You Say Goodbye, and I Say Hello

Shelly and I did our Face Time "Beer Monday" teleconference with Kate and Bob Coleman and chatted about our week. I sent a text to our other Village Cafe crew to see if they want to join us next Monday.

I was watching Paul McCartney concert videos on YouTube and I think I'd like to see him in concert one more time. Shelly and I have seen him three times and I thought that was enough. But now I think going one more time and forking over the money to get really good seats is in the future. We'll see if he continues touring after the virus lifts and things get to a new normal. He turns 78 in June, but I bet he has a lot of great performances still in him.

I am going to watch the movie trilogy of the Millennium series of Swedish crime novels, created by journalist Stieg Larsson, featuring Lisbeth Salander. I'm watching the original Swedish film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and will follow that with The Girl who Played with Fire and The Girl who Kicked the Hornets' Nest. I never read the books but the films are excellent.

Here's a throwback photo of a sunrise in Ocean City on Christmas morning in 2012. We haven't been to the beach since early February and I really miss these beautiful sites.

And in closing, Shelly and I saw the show The Book of Mormon at the Kennedy Center in 2018. I knew very little about it except that it was written by the creators of South Park, so I figured it would be funny, and it was. Here's the opening number, "Hello."
