Isolation Day 45 - Banana Bread, Come and Gone

It's been just over a year since I had my prostate removed due to prostate cancer. Follow-up tests have shown near zero PSA levels. I'm doing really well and I am so thankful my primary care physician had PSA tests included in my annual labs. So gentlemen, please ask your physician to have your PSA test. It may save your life.

Shelly made banana nut bread today. Absolutely delicious. It didn't last the evening.

I am concerned about how Lennon and McCartney will react when things open up and we start traveling again. We got an email from the Ocean City mayor that the beach is now closed through May 22nd, so it may be June or later before we go there. The cats will have had us to themselves 24 x 7 for nearly three months by then. We'll have to reintroduce them to us being gone gradually so they don't freak out.

I watched the original Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It features Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker and researcher, and Mikael Blomkvist, an investigative journalist and publisher of a magazine called Millennium. She helps him investigate the disappearance of a wealthy and powerful capitalist's niece. I've seen this movie several times and it's always great to watch. 8 out of 10 stars.

Here's a throwback photo from 2011 at the I. M. Pei Louvre Pyramid in Paris. Shelly and I met Melissa there and spent 9 days including Christmas Day. We had a wonderful time.

And in closing, Shelly, her mother Joan, and I saw Neil Diamond in at the Capital Center in Maryland about 20 years ago. Great show. Here he is performing "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show."
