Our trip to Ocean City with Rhys, Knox and Melissa is pretty much shot. Our building has closed the indoor pool, which the kids would have used a lot. We were also looking forward to hiding Easter Eggs on the beach for the kids, and just having a change of scenery. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks.
I'm reading my World War II history tome. Finished the chapter on the peace process following the armistice in 1918. President Woodrow Wilson had his "14 points" which included the creation of the League of Nations, an organization designed to keep the peace in Europe. It all dissolved in France and Britain's interest in punishing Germany and setting up assurances that they could no longer wage war. The Treaty of Versailles crippled Germany and set the stage for Hitler.

Shelly tried to cut my hair/shave my head today. The shaver was not working properly and was tearing the hair out of my head. I'm charging a trimmer and we'll have another go at it tomorrow.

New York, Connecticut and Illinois have now issued shelter-in-place orders for non-essential workers. Nearly 1/4 of America is now under quarantine.
Goldman Sachs economists are projecting 2.25 million people applying for unemployment this week. That's unprecedented. I hope the stimulus package provides some support to them.
Meanwhile, at the Task Force press conference, Trump had a meltdown and he ripped into Peter Alexander for asking a legitimate question that challenged the president. Trump keeps touting this old malaria drug and Dr. Fauci and other people of science are saying we need data, such as dosage and effects. Trump provides dangerous messages, and science and experts are saying hold off until we know for sure whether and under what circumstances it works. Trump needs to get out of the way and keep his mouth shut. Let Pence and the people of science tell the story (that's kind of an interesting group, as Pence doesn't believe in science).
