Isolation Day 59 - We're Starting to Reopen (sort of)!

Maryland is partially reopening on Friday. Businesses and churches can open at 50% capacity, but restaurants are still closed. We live in Montgomery County, and it is maintaining restrictions. We border DC and Northern Virginia and the cases are still pretty high.

Shelly made Cincinnati chili today. Absolutely delicious! Thanks Shelly! And our good friend Kristian Anderson stopped by the house to pick up a couple take out dishes of chili. It was nice seeing her and having a visitor, even if from a distance.

Here's McCartney in her new, favorite spot, a wicker basket.

I watched the movie The Boondock Saints, a Troy Duffy cult classic, about two Irish Catholic brothers who become vigilantes and wipe out Boston's criminal underworld in the name of God. Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus play the brothers who accidentally kill mafia thugs. They turn themselves in and are released as heroes. They then see it as a calling by God and start knocking off mafia gang members one by one. Willem Dafoe plays the detective trying to figure out the killings, but the closer he comes to catching the Irish brothers, the more he thinks the brothers are doing the right thing. It's a good movie with lots of action and worth 7 stars out of 10.

Here's a throwback photo of Shelly and Elvis at Graceland in Memphis, TN in 2010. Graceland and the museums were pretty cool, and Memphis was a nice city. At least the downtown was. The house is very 70'sish. Here's a link to our trip photo gallery.

And in closing, speaking of Graceland, here's Paul Simon singing "Graceland."
