Day 2 at the beach and there are more people on the beach. Nearly everyone we saw wore a mask and social distanced. You have to wear a mask in the common areas in the condo complex. Shelly and I sat on the pool deck and enjoyed the sun and surf. We might try the boardwalk tomorrow.
We saw Jimmy who owns the Jungle Bar Restaurant and Tiki Bar at the complex. He has renovated his restaurant and it looks great. He will start take out service in a week or so. We look forward to when restaurants are able to open.
Andrew Cotter, the BBC sports commentator, does the play-by-play of the penguin parade from the shore to the dunes. As are all of his commentaries, it's great!
I watched the movie The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington as a man who believes he has put his mysterious past behind him and has dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life, before he meets a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian gangsters and can't stand idly by. It has lots of action and Denzel is great as usual. 7 out of 10 stars.
Here's a throwback photo from our trip to Maui in 2017. I have an underwater camera, stuck my arm under water, and snapped this picture of a whale that was friending our boat. It was a spectacular whale watching trip.
