In June, 2021, Shelly and I spent 8 days in Ocean City, MD. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, with bright sunshine just about every day. We spent time on the beach enjoying the ocean breeze and the scenery. We also spent time at the pool with friend Sandy Bowser who visited from Ocean Pines, MD.
The Ocean City Air Show was on during the weekend and we saw the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in their F-22 Raptors fly over our condo and the beach. I love watching these fabulous aircraft and feeling the power of their engines.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Jungle Bar Restaurant, local on the first floor of our condo building. I had the Crab Mountain, a one-pound crab cake, with vegetables and baked potato, and Shelly had prime rib with a crab cake and accompaniments. Both meals were delicious and VERY filling.
We had drinks at the outdoor tiki bar and listened to the music of a father and son duo named Blind Wind. The father plays the guitar and sings and the son, who is blind, plays harmonicas. They play cover songs, mostly country, and are very good.
Lastly, the sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean were, of course, gorgeous.
