Keith Urban showed up to perform at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA for his Speed of Now World Tour and Shelly, Melissa, her friend Alexis, and I were there to see it! We arrived early and tail-gated in the parking lot for a little over an hour.
Around 7:00pm we headed to our seats to listen to the opening act, Ingrid Andress perform. She's a singer-song writer and was quite good, performing some rockin' country music.
Keith Urban came on stage around 8:45pm to the roar of the crowd.
I have to say I am not a fan of country music, I don't dislike it, but I Just have never listened to it. And I knew zero Keith Urban songs. But he is quite a performer and a great rocker as far as I am concerned. I don't know what defines country music, but this sounded like rock and roll to me, which I liked a lot. It was a great concert and I really enjoyed it. Next up is Jimmy Buffett and we're ready to join Parrotheads at Jiffy Lube Live in August.
