On May 18, Shelly and I picked up her mother, Joan Solomonson and traveled to Toms River, NJ to visit the Sarno family: Shelly's sister Sheri, husband Dave, and daughters Lauren and Lindsey.
We arrived around 1:00pm and Sheri had lunch prepared for us. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and we sat outside, ate, and chatted. We caught up on each others lives, and at 5:00pm we headed to the beach and boardwalk at Seaside Heights. We ate dinner at a boardwalk restaurant, and then walked. The ocean was gorgeous and we had a nice breeze. We returned to the Sarno's for an evening of chat.
The next morning, we had a great breakfast at a restaurant named MeeMoms, said our goodbyes, and headed home. It was a wonderful visit, and with the pandemic mostly under control, we'll be visiting again.
