United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away on Friday, September 18th. It was quite a blow because she was such an inspiration and champion for the rights of women, LGBTQ, and the disenfranchised. Shelly and I visited the Supreme Court on Thursday, September 24th where she was lying in repose. We stood in line with hundreds of other admirers, filed past her flag-draped casket, and paid our respects. We can only pray that the justice who replaces her will have the convictions and integrity of Justice Ginsburg. May she rest in peace.
