Shelly and I just saw the biopic movie "Respect" starring Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin. Hudson does a great job portraying the Queen of Soul, and her struggles to find herself and her music. I did not realize Franklin was so involved in the civil rights movement of the 60's and 70's. The movie deals with her life from the age of 10 to 28 or so. It's definitely worth seeing. I give it a 7 out of 10 stars.
